Car Seats Colour Change ?

   hello i am new to the forum and have a quick question. i hope you dont mind me jumping stright in .

here goes 
i have a car whith two tone interior , this is black on the outside and red down the middle. i want to have it all black , i have looked at buying new seats door cards etc but this is going to set me back well over 2k. 

i was wondering if possible to have them dyed ?? 
or would it be better to get them reupholstered ??

any info would be great
